Big Woods Lake Recreation Area is a stunning little area right in Cedar Falls. It has a large pond and a beautiful walking trail all across. One of my favorite features of this location is the tall grass, seen in Kiersten and Logan’s session! It really is an Iowa photographer’s playground!
George Wyth State Park is located right between Cedar Falls and Waterloo. While it’s much bigger than Big Woods, it offers a wide variety of scenery and it simply stunning – especially in the summer and fall!
The area of downtown Cedar Falls is filled with small businesses, great restaurants, and unique places to take photos! If you’re wanting a little more urban feel, head to the downtown area!
