Located in Cambridge, Minnesota – a short drive from Minneapolis – sits one of my all time favorite venues in the midwest. Meet Pinewood! While I haven’t had a chance to photograph it (just yet ;)), I have had the privilege of seeing this venue across my feed!

Just as the name suggests, there are ample pine trees covering the property of Pinewood Weddings and Events. Additionally, the space was curated by a wedding photographer, so you know all the bases are covered! Pinewood gives an incredible nature feel while still being accessible for all your wedding guests! Isn’t this venue stunning?
Little Lights on the Lane is one of my “hometown” favorites, but for good reason! One of the best parts is Little Lights is located right in West Branch, Iowa – off I80, making it accessible to all! The features of this wedding venue really are incredible. From an amazing staff to ample indoor and outdoor space, it fits all your wedding venue needs.

When it comes to midwest wedding venues, Little lights on the lane checks all the boxes. Additionally, it even sits on a golf course which is both a groom and photographer’s dream! I personally love the golden hour on the golf course taking bride and groom photos!
Owned by the same owners as Pinewood, Catalyst by Nature Link is a brand new wedding venue built in 2022. Featuring similar features, it has unbelievable views of pinewoods as well as a lake. Can you picture your dream wedding at this incredible Minnesota wedding venue? By far, this is one of the most beautiful midwest wedding venues out there. Additionally, the owners really did think of everything when they built Catalyst in Minnesota. Although it is pretty far north, it’s worth the drive for an intimate wedding in nature with all your best people. The panoramic views and on-site lodging make booking this midwest wedding venue a no-brainer!

The Illinois Bank and Trust Pavilion is located in Rockford Illinois. This midwest venue is perfect for those who love the all-white, classy barn venue look. With over 5,500 square feet of event space, this Illinois wedding venue is sure to help you create the wedding of your dreams. Additionally, it truly is unique – you can’t find another venue like it in the midwest!

With over a hundred acres surrounding, the Wilds venue is a unique and beautiful wedding venue in the midwest. Located in Bloomington, Indiana, this is a stunning Indiana wedding venue! Not only is the Wilds a large venue, able to fit all your guests, but it also has a luxury feel to it.

As an Iowa Native, I can’t help but add Harpor’s Vineyard to the list of unique midwest wedding venues. Some of the features of this midwest venue include incredible staff (in my opinion, the best out there!), a beautiful winery, and incredible space surrounding! Located about an hour from Des Moines, Iowa, Harpor’s vineyard is a perfect midwest wedding venue.

The Legacy at Green Hills is a wedding venue in Kansas City, Kansas that checks all the boxes. It includes a stunning event space, beautiful green outdoors space, and even a pond! Can you picture all your dream wedding photos coming to life at this venue space?!

Without a doubt, Redeemed Farms is one of my all time favorite midwest wedding venues. Not only is the venue itself stunning, but the heart and mission behind this venue is something I fully support. Additionally, the owners are the sweetest humans and the venue? I’ll let it speak for itself, but let’s just say it’s stunning!
