Woodlands, Texas Engagement Session
Emily and Carter met me in W.G. Jones State Park in the Woodlands, Texas for their fall engagement session. I absolutely love shooting in the Woodlands for engagement sessions. Getting to photograph couples under the tall pine trees of the Woodlands are one of my absolute favorite places to shoot. Emily and Carter were so laid back and had a blast taking their photos! If you’re looking for a place outside of Houston to take engagements, I highly recommend considering the Woodlands for your session.
When it comes to planning Texas engagement sessions, I always recommend keeping a few things in mind:
- Temperature! We all know Texas can be HOT – so plan your session accordingly. If possible, have your engagement session in the spring or late fall to avoid sweat overload.
- Season. Keep in mind what trees look like at that time of the year. Especially when planning a shoot at W.G. Jones State Park, like this one!
- Background colors! This one will affect the overall feel of your photos.
