Wedding Day Details

Obviously, as a photographer I love taking a moment to show off the details of the day. Marphi and Pauline got ready at the stunning C. Baldwin Hotel in downtown venue. Just minutes from the Sunset Coffee Building venue in downtown Houston, I highly recommend considering this hotel as a prime location to get ready for your downtown Houston wedding! As a Houston wedding photographer, I appreciated the amazing lighting the hotel had to offer and the spacious hotel suites my couple booked.

Getting Ready Photos

When it comes to photographing weddings, some of the sweetest moments are the bride and groom getting ready. Of course, this day was no exception. From the emotional zipping of the brides dress to a few bridal portraits, this Houston wedding was so sweet to photograph!

The bride’s dress was from La Reve Bridal Couture. It was stunning!

One of my favorite wedding day traditions to document is a first look in any form. For this couple, they decided to forgo a first look with each other. But they did decide to do a first look with the bride’s father and brother. How sweet is that wedding photo?!

Wedding Ceremony at Houston Church

Marphi and Pauline had their wedding ceremony at Our Lady of Lourdes church in Houston, Texas. It’s safe to say their wedding was emotional and beautiful. Seeing their first look as the bride walked down the aisle was so sweet! Of course these photos are just a small glimpse at their Houston wedding ceremony, but you can just tell the emotions in every photo. As a photographer, I love documenting the little moments and emotions.

Sunset Coffee Building Wedding Reception:

The Sunset Coffee Building in downtown Houston is genuinely an adorable wedding venue, perfect for intimate weddings and receptions. Complete with an outdoor space for cocktail hour, stunning rooftop with a view of Houston, and a cozy indoor space, the Sunset building is perfect! I personally loved the star decorations this couple used for their Texas reception. Also, I loved the sparkler exit as the couple departed into the city lights at the end of the wedding. It was a fairytale!

Houston Bridal Party Photos

Photographing bridal parties in Houston are always so fun! In particular, this venue made photographing this fun bridal party easy! How stunning is the view of the city behind this group?!

Bride and Groom Portraits at the Sunset Coffee Building

By now, you probably are thinking every part of a wedding day is my favorite to photograph… You’re probably right. But, hear me out. Sneaking the bride and groom out onto the rooftop of the Sunset Coffee Building during sunset?! It was so stunning! Just take a peak at these sunset photos. Aren’t they a dream? I couldn’t pick a favorite even if I tried!
