You’d never know that located in the small town of West Branch Iowa sits a stunning wedding venue called Little Lights on the Lane. As I arrived, I was met with a beautiful all white wedding venue with TONS of character. This summer wedding was one for the books. It was truly a privilege to photograph their sweet wedding day at Little Lights on the Lane in West Branch, Iowa. If you’re looking for an Iowa wedding venue, definitely consider this one!! I cannot recommend it enough.

For a July wedding, we had a beautiful day! It was a stunning sunny day and every detail was simply perfect. From getting ready in the venue’s bridal suite to golden hour on the surrounding golf course, I couldn’t have asked for a better day to photograph.
Getting Ready at Little Lights
Little Lights on the Lane is the model for getting ready spaces when it comes to Iowa wedding venues! Tiffany got ready with all her girls in their stunning bridal suite. One of my favorite aspects of the suite is the beautiful golden mirror. Talk about a bride’s dream! First, we photographed the bridesmaids hanging out with the bride. When it came time to put on her dress, we stepped in front of the stunning mirror for a few photos. I always recommend doing this because it allows the bride to take the day in even more! Because Little Lights on the Lane is one of my favorite venues to photograph in around Iowa, I had to sneak a few photos of the details. All throughout the venue lies carefully curated spaces that photographers and couples love! From the sitting spaces to the ample natural light, this venue really is special.
The Bride and Groom’s First Look
Finding a first look space in the afternoon can be stressful. Luckily, this venue in West Branch, Iowa had an amazing tall tree that provides plenty of shade! Tiffany and Alex choose to have a first look before their ceremony. Take a peak at how sweet their emotions are. As an Iowa wedding photographer, I still get so emotional getting to document these special moments at Little Lights.

Iowa Wedding Ceremony at Little Lights on the Lane
One of my favorite parts of these wedding photos is how the sunlight was streaking through the tree during their vows. How dreamy!! Wedding ceremonies in Iowa in the afternoon can be tricky. Often times, guests are squinting in the sun. Fortunately, this tree at Little Lights on the Lane provided the perfect shade so that wasn’t the case!
Iowa Wedding Golden Hour
As a wedding photographer, golden hour is always one of my favorites. We snuck out from their wedding reception for a few golden hour photos. They were worth it! It’s not often I can convince my couple to lay down in their wedding attire. How fun! This West Branch Wedding Venue was the perfect venue for some incredible golden hour portraits!
