One of my all time favorite wedding venues is no doubt the Mountain Terrace Wedding Venue in Woodside California. Located in the beautiful California Redwoods, this wedding venue really is a dream. Additionally, the Mountain Terrace is undoubtedly one of Northern California’s prettiest wedding venues. Photographing this sweet wedding day at the Mountain Terrace was a day to remember. Nora and Tyler choose the Mountain Terrace and it did not disappoint. Obviously when looking at a wedding venue, there are a plethora of factors to consider. From a photographer’s perspective, the Mountain Terrace had so many to choose from. I absolutely loved the tall redwood trees which served as an amazing ceremony backdrop. Additionally, the shade provided by the trees was perfect for an afternoon ceremony. If timed right, all of your guests will be in the shade while still having that perfect afternoon sunlight. Secondly, the venue featured a spacious outdoor deck. Comfortably gather all of your guests on the deck for dinner, dancing, or whatever your dream day looks like. How Many Guests Does the Mountain Terrace Venue Fit?
The Mountain Terrace can fit up to 300 wedding guests via outdoor dining. If you prefer indoor dining, guest count is limited to 120 seated guests. Luckily, this venue offers plenty of options to fit guest counts up to 300, which is amazing for California! Not to mention the gorgeous views of Woodside California seen from the venue! Or, my personal favorite – the tall redwood trees.
Does the Mountain Terrace Have Catering?
Yes! The Mountain Terrace actually has it’s own in house catering, which makes planning your dream wedding day even easier!

According to their website, the cost to rent the Mountain Terrace depends on the month! Here’s the latest rates:

One of my favorite parts of a wedding day as a photographer is the golden hour photos. The Mountain Terrace event venue had a variety of different backgrounds that brought such different vibes to the photos. Nora and Tyler snuck over for some fun bridals, and man were they worth it!! Take a scroll through these beauties. Be warned, though. They will definitely make you want to get married at the Mountain Terrace in Woodside, California too!
