If you've ever watched the movie Mama Mia, you've undoubtedly dreamed of a destination wedding in Greece! Well, Maddie and Danny did just that! Their dream wedding day was in Naxos, Greece, surrounded by the most beautiful turquoise water and blue skies! From their unique and stunning rental house to their sweet friends and family who traveled all the way to Greece for their wedding, this day was nothing short of perfect. If you're dreaming of a destination wedding in Greece, I could not recommend Naxos more!

Greece has so many incredible places to get married, but which islands are the best to get married on in Greece? It honestly depends on what you're looking for!
Naxos, Greece: If you're wanting a relaxing atmosphere, crystal clear water, and affordable lodging for your guests, Naxos is a great idea! The people on the island are incredible kind. Not to mention how good the food on Naxos is! Naxos is not a huge tourist destination, making it a lot less crowded than other islands.
Mykonos, Greece: While Mykonos is more popular than Naxos, it is so beautiful and popular for a reason! Mykonos features the famous windmills which could be a cool backdrop for your destination wedding! While in Greece for Maddie and Danny's wedding day, my friends and I did a day on a boat in Mykonos and it was one of my favorite parts of our trip!
Paros, Greece: Paros is located near Naxos, giving it similar views and amenities! Paros is a perfect location for a stunning destination wedding and has so many unique and beautiful locations to choose from!
Overall, there are SO many incredible islands in Greece to have your dream destination wedding day! While Naxos, Mykonos, and Paros are my top recommendations, there are plenty of other amazing options. At the end of the day, you cannot go wrong with choosing a Greece island for your wedding or elopement! Greece's perfect weather, scenery, food, and amenities make this country a dream location for a wedding day!
