Starting at the iconic Hotel Fort Des Moines to get ready, followed by their ceremony in the rose garden, every detail of this day was absolute perfection. From the beautiful rose garden to the convenient location, everything about their wedding venue in Des Moines was perfect. When it comes to details of Morgan and Chris' day, they were STUNNING. The color pallette they chose was so colorful - which, if you meet Morgan, makes perfect sense. She is joy and fun and all things color - so of course, her wedding had to be, too! The colors went perfectly with the Art Center's rose garden, which was in full bloom in the middle of Des Moines summer. Every single detail of this Des Moines wedding day was perfect.

Is there lodging near the Des Moines Art Center? Absolutely! Because the Des Moines Art Center is located near the heart of Des Moines, there are countless options for lodging for both the wedding party and wedding guests. Some of my favorite places to stay in Des Moines include Hotel Fort Des Moines & The Surety Hotel. Not to mention, both of these hotels are also beautiful - so as an Iowa wedding photographer, these are my top recommendations if you plan on getting ready the morning of your wedding day. The lighting, location, and beauty of both the Surety Hotel and Hotel Fort Des Moines are top tier. NOTE: these hotels tend to book up fast, especially on weekends so be sure to reserve your rooms here as soon as possible.
