Cedar Rapids Iowa Engagement Session

Emily and Alex met me in Cedar Rapids, Iowa for their engagement session in the summer. Although It was a hot Iowa summer day, you would never tell from looking at the photos. When in comes to planning engagement sessions, I always give my couples various options to fit what they’re looking for. These two wanted a mix of flowers and water, which is why we went to this specific location! If you squint enough, the sandy beach *almost* looks like it’s not even in Iowa! We seriously had the best time taking these engagement photos. If you’re looking for a place to take engagement photos, Palisades-Keppler State Park in Cedar Rapids Iowa might be the perfect place!

Finding the perfect engagement session location can be tricky – especially in the middle of Iowa. Fortunately, Cedar Rapids actually has some beautiful locations to choose from! Here are some of my favorite location options in Cedar Rapids!

Unique Cedar Rapids Coffee Shops

If you know me, you know I absolutely LOVE coffee shops! If you do too, consider doing your engagement session at one! Fortunately, Cedar Rapids has tons of cute ones to choose from. Although hours vary, here are some options to consider!

Firstly, Dash Coffee Roasters has locations in both Iowa City and Cedar Rapids! With the cutest aesthetics, it’s picture perfect! It’s seriously so adorable!

Secondly, Cafe Saint Pio is a quaint coffee shop near downtown.

Brewhemia, one of my personal favorites, is right downtown and has tons of natural light and delicious lattes!
