Sarah and Peter’s Bellevue, Iowa wedding this fall was one of the prettiest fall wedding days you could ever imagine. Who knew Iowa could look so stunning? We got the perfect 60 degree October wedding day. From the getting ready moments at Sarah’s parents home to the reception at Offshore events, this Bellevue wedding day was a dream.
Iowa Wedding Day Details
The details of a wedding day are some of my favorite parts. I especially love incorporating little details from the day that are important. For this wedding day, Sarah’s dad was so proud that he had just chopped a bunch of wood that was sitting outside of the house. I decided to take a few photos of their rings on that wood so it was represented in their gallery – a little something to look back on and remember. Fall in Bellevue, Iowa is truly stunning and makes my photographer heart soar!!

These getting ready moments seem so simple, but just take your breath away. From Sarah’s sister zipping her into her dress to her walk down the stairs – I adored capturing it all.

First looks on a wedding day are always so emotional. This one was definitely no exception. Sarah and Peter had their first look in front of the church they got married at in Bellevue. I loved the simplicity of this location and the meaning it had to the couple.

We headed up to Bellevue State Park for some bridal party and bride and groom photos – just a few minute drive from the ceremony! Lucky for us, the trees were changing JUST for us. How stunning?!! Don’t Sarah and Peter look like they belong in a magazine?
