A wedding day packed full of surprises is the only way I can think to describe Carley and Christian’s wedding at the Homestead wedding venue in Willis, Texas. And by surprises, I mean the best kind! Their wedding day included details like mac-n-cheese in fancy glasses, a bride’s haircut mid-wedding, and dancing down the aisle to name a few. This wedding day at The Homestead was the most fun day and I loved getting to photograph this Texas wedding day!

Dreamy Wedding Day at the Homestead Venue in Willis TX
Firstly, Carley and her bridesmaids got ready in the spacious bridal suite at The Homestead! When considering this Willis venue, it is clear the owner Alexis thought of it all! There is abundant space in the getting ready suites for big bridal parties – including this one!
Wedding Ceremony at the Homestead
One way I would describe Carley and Christian’s wedding ceremony would be intentional. I loved their Christ-focused wedding day. Clearly, there was so much intentionality put into their wedding ceremony at the Homestead. Taking a peak through these sweet moments of their wedding ceremony, you can see the raw emotions that took place. So sweet!! As a Texas wedding photographer, this ceremony was one of my favorites. Can you tell why?
Bride and Groom Portraits in Willis, Texas
Carley and Christian had such a classic bride and groom look which was suited for this all-black Texas venue! Genuinely, the florals were one of my all-time favorite wedding florals I’ve seen! One of my favorite aspects of photographing wedding at the homestead is the versatility of the venue! Not only does it have a stunning indoor ceremony space, but it also has this beautiful outdoor space that can be used for ceremonies, cocktail hours, etc. Additionally, the Homestead has ample indoor space for multiple purposes as well!
